Mantra Songs in Your Body’s Musical Key – 2 or 8 Week Course
Mantras are a type of toning that can change repetitive thought patterns. This is sometimes also called chanting. Repetition of a chant or mantra creates a groove, like those in a record, like a pathway of a thought-form in your mind. The more you repeat it, the deeper the groove, the stronger and surer the path. Chanting a mantra with an open heart will embed within your psyche an emotion that will be automatically triggered whenever the situation and need arises.
As a matter of fact they are so powerful, Mantras are used by some psychologists and psychiatrists with addicts and people with anxiety disorders.
This modality can be used in many situations. For example, if you are angry because someone has caused you harm, and you meditate with this chant, after a while, whenever thoughts of anger toward that person arise, this chant will trigger in your memory. With it will come the feeling that you practiced and experienced while doing the chant. You may even hear the chant in your mind. It’s really good for breaking unwanted, no longer useful habits.
Silent Mantra chanting in your mind as well as speaking the Mantra out loud are age old ways to change a mindset or unconscious negative thought pattern. This course amplifies that power and puts it on steroids. We will add to this existing equation-
Chant Mantra = change mindset
Chant Mantra + sing it in your body’s musical key=change mindset even faster
I always thought that making sound during a meditation session made it far easier to stay in the present moment. It makes it easier for me to keep my focus. When we sing our Mantras composed in the key of our body’s musical scale notes, our brains are even more focused as to where to direct the healing. The Mantra song will vibrate the area of the body that is holding the unconscious cellular memory of the negative thought pattern and help it release and recalibrates the energy to be in tune with your system.
The most common ancient mantra is the sacred Hindu syllable Aum—considered to be the sound of the creation of the universe. Aum (usually spelled Om) is believed to contain every vibration that has ever existed—or will exist in the future. Chanting this sound seems to connect you to the ALL or the ONE and brings great peace of mind. In today’s world mantras are being studied by mainstream doctors as they try to understand the real benefits of this practice.
